CHICAGO, Illinois (October 25, 2016) — We are pleased to announce the 16th edition of the Chicago Muslim Turkey Drive. The drive increases turnout at parent-teacher conferences while also providing Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need. This year’s goal is distribute 5,000 turkeys at eight (8) Chicago Public Schools! On November 22nd, we will be distributing turkeys at:

  1. Carnegie Elementary, 1414 E. 61st Place
  2. Dulles Elementary, 6311 S. Calumet
  3. Emmett Till Academy, 6543 S. Champlain
  4. Fairfield Academy, 6201 S. Fairfield
  5. Fiske Elementary, 6020 S. Langley
  6. South Shore Academy, 1415 E. 70th Street
  7. Wadsworth Elementary, 6650 S. Ellis
  8. Woodlawn Academy, 6657 S. Kimbark

as well as at the Inner-city Muslim Action Network (IMAN).

The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA®) is again supporting the Turkey Drive through their Sabeel Food Pantry initiative. In fact this year, IFANCA will match every donation, dollar for dollar. Turkeys are $20 each and donations can be made online at www.sabeelpantry.org or by sending a check made payable to “Sabeel Food Pantry” to:
