JOB SUMMARY:

Assist clients in Halal Certification and other inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review application from the customer for halal certification
    Respond to customer inquiries, prepare contracts and riders
    Assist in developing service procedures, policies, and standards
  • Seek and acquire new competencies, work methods, ideas, and information that will improve your own efficiency and effectiveness on the job.
  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
  • Evaluate corrective action plans for compliance and implementation as assigned by the Director
  • Cooperate and collaborate with other departments in identifying opportunities to improve the overall performance of the organization
  • Investigate and solve customer complaints
  • Prepare reports pertaining to department activities
  • Assist Director of Customer Service in organizing training activities

  • Requires exceptional verbal and written communication and outstanding presentation skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of similar work experience
  2. Candidates with an Associate Degree can also apply if they have the skills to meet the responsibilities of the job and 1-2 years of similar work experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the Director in development of food security and health security programs and partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Director of Market Development in developing food security and health security programs and procedures, as well as establishing and managing partnerships.
  • Provide clear summaries of discussions and outline the next steps in communications.
  • Create and maintain an organized activities calendar and documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings as needed.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and follow-through on deliverables both internally and with partners/clients.
  • Oversee the certification workflow, working with clients and internal departments to ensure all steps are completed promptly and all information is well-documented.
  • Follow up with clients on certificate renewals and invoices.
  • Ensure timely review and approval of ingredients.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the Director in managing Halal certification operations, ensuring compliance and quality standards. Help develop service policies, supervise staff, collaborate across departments, and provide Halal training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily operations for Halal certification inquiries and Halal application processes (including contracts, reviews, audits, data entry, and certification) to maintain compliance and quality standards.
  • Develop and enhance service procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Supervise and evaluate associates, providing performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for organizational improvement.
  • Provide training on Halal requirements and procedures to staff and clients.
  • Support management tasks related to the Halal quality system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Comprehensive understanding and commitment to Islamic religious considerations, Halal standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Halal certification, food industry, auditing, management, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Experience working in a team environment and ability to provide leadership and supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to utilize other software programs as needed
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
