Baked Sweet Potatoes with Sliced Apples and Figs

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Lightly coat a medium-sized baking dish with 1 tablespoon of butter.
Place sweet potatoes, figs, and apple slices into buttered baking dish; add water.
Top with cinnamon, remaining tablespoon of butter, and brown sugar if desired.
Bake for 45 minutes until sweet potatoes are soft and golden brown.
